As Scenic Rim View Cottages does not cater for pets, we have secured an arrangement with a nearby pet motel.

Getaway Pet Motel is just 10 minutes from Scenic Rim View Cottages, on the way from Brisbane and Ipswich.

Set on 95 rolling acres, their facilities are modern, spacious and clean and run by caring, genuine animal lovers to ensure your best friend will receive individual care and personal attention.

Customers of Scenic Rim View Cottages receive a 10% discount on their pet's stayand to settle your pet in upon arrival, they will also receive a complimentary gourmet liver treat (for dogs) and yummy feline greenies (for the cats). Of course, all of the guests their receive cuddle, play-time and lots of attention from the staff.

For customers with dogs, Getaway Pet Motel also have advice for dog-friendly places to visit in the region! They understand how much you miss your pets whilst you are away, so they can arrange pick up and drop off times for day trips away from their motel as a perfect way for you to have a fun outing with your mate.

All dogs receive a complimentary hydrobath prior to departure for stay of 2 days or more.

Paddock Romp

Your dog can now enjoy a "Farm Experience" whilst boarding with Getaway Pet Motel!

On carefully maintained paths on their gorgeous 95 acre property, caring staff can now take your dog/s for a romp through the paddocks.

They can smell all the farms smells, stalk grasshoppers, stare wide-eyed (and yes, often bark) at the cattle, visit one of the dams if they are so inclined.

This is a great new service that allows your dog to experience a country adventure as well!

We can take your dog for as many romps as you would like over the course of their stay with us. Of course, for customers of Scenic Rim View Cottages, the first romp is offered complimentary.

If you wish to spend some time with your dogs whilst you are staying at the cottages, you can certainly take them on a paddock romp yourself accompanied by us or on your own with your pet as you desire.
